Dr. Folinson is committed to providing our patients with superior orthodontic care using the very latest in technology and medical advances. His goal is to create your perfect smile, with a philosophy that includes having fun in the office and establishing long-lasting friendships with our patients and their families.

Dr. Folinson earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Somewhere in 1984, and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Elsewhere in 1988. Two years later he received his Master of Science in orthodontics from St. Louis University.

Dr. Folinson is a member of many professional organizations, such as the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Columbia Dental Society, the Central Dental Society, and the Gus Sotiropoulos Study Club. He is also an Invisalign® certified preferred provider and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

Dr. Folinson enjoys working with all his patients, and watching as each unique smile he treats progresses throughout the entire orthodontic experience.

Hey, my name is Christin! In March of 2005 I became an orthodontic assistant for Dr. Folinson at Generic Dental. I enjoy getting to know each of our patients and their families, as well as the hands-on involvement that comes with my position. Watching personalities and smiles change over the course of treatment is very rewarding and can also be challenging at times. As a team we are all very close and enjoy laughing and having fun together and we love to involve our patients in the fun!

I graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s in business administration and a major in management. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi there, I’m Charles. I started working with Drs. Karl and Charles in 1992 and continued working with Dr. Folinson once he bought the practice. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. Time sure flies when you’re having fun! My first job in dentistry started after I had 2 root canals and my dentist put me to work. Between general dentistry and orthodontics I have worked in the dental field for over 25 years!

Working in orthodontics is fun because of the involvement with the patients, no matter what age. We have quite an assortment of personalities working here, which keeps a lively involvement with our patients and a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

My wife and I live on a farm just outside town. We have five children, some grown and some still at home. There is never a dull moment between them and our seven grandkids, believe me! It seems as if there is always a birthday party at our house!

Hi! My name is Brooke and I have been working at this practice since 1996. I started working in orthodontics in 1985 and became a certified orthodontic assistant in 1996 then added expanded functions in 1998. My goal is to make you and your family feel at home when visiting our practice and to make your braces experience as comfortable and fun as possible.

I currently live in Tipton, and I have been married to my husband Morty since 1982. We have two children, Sam and Samantha. In my spare time I enjoy reading, bowling, scrapbooking, camping, and playing with my children.

I am a certified orthodontic assistant and have worked for Generic Dental since 1981. One of the enjoyments in this job is seeing a patient every four to six weeks while watching him or her change in personality, attitude, appearance and confidence.

My motto: “Clean Teeth are Happy Teeth!” If you come in here with clean and healthy teeth and gums you will make my day brighter. Remember, smiling is a gift to everyone and doesn’t cost anything.

I live in Sompeplace City, my favorite color is purple and I love cats. I also enjoy motorcycles, the St. Louis Cardinals, estate/garage sales and enjoy sunny days!

My name is Ben and I have worked full time in dentistry since 1985. I became a certified dental assistant in 1988 and a certified orthodontic assistant in 1996. In 1999 I completed my expanded functions in orthodontics. In 1987 I started working for Generic Dental as a lab tech. Most likely you won’t see me in the office unless you need a retainer or another application made as I spend most of my days in our lab.

I am originally from Chicago, but reside in Columbia. My wife and I have 3 children. Our oldest son is a U.S. Marine and our other 2 children are currently finishing high school and college.

Hey! I recently graduated from dental assisting school and started working for Dr. Folinson in June 2015. Prior to graduation I was a nanny and continue to do so in the evenings and weekends when I am needed.

I am enjoying my career as an orthodontic assistant and look forward to working with all of our patients and their families. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to join! I chose to work in orthodontics because I think it’s a rewarding career that allows me to watch our patients, of all ages, become more confident as their smile progresses during treatment.

While I’m not working here I enjoy traveling, working out, babysitting and watching sporting events. Go Cards!

Welcome! My name is Andrea, and I have been the patient account representative since 1996. Treatment fees, payment options, insurance benefits, and flex spending are some of the things that I help patients with on a daily basis.
